I just used burnt sienna, white and black. Most of the light areas were created by removing paint down to the canvas with mineral spirits.
Tonight I tried just painting by myself. Not online. But I watched/listened to PBS news and then the Rachel Carson biography. After all these years of hearing about Silent Spring, it made me want to read it, and it really made me appreciate what a difference she made in our lives.
