Well, I hope this is a trend. This is the second broadcast in a row where the painting was spoken for before I was finished painting it. Thank you, Marilyn! I had put up four reference ideas to get a vote from the viewers who arrived first to the broadcast as to which painting to do. I had two figures and two still life arrangements. This is the one that got the most votes. I enjoyed painting it, and as always, the company was like a warm hug from a good friend. You guys are the best.
Two nights ago I finally hung all the little paintings I've been collecting from some of my bloggy artist friends. For symmetry, I added in a few of my own. My most recent purchase was the sweet beach painting by Josh Kadtke in the upper left corner. A close-up of that one is at the end of this post. I'll try to identify the artists of each....

Great still life, we got back from Gene's ride too late to tune in and watch. Congrats on the sale, too.
Great idea to post your purchases. I love them all, too.
Your wall is beautiful, Susan! I am proud to be on it. And this still life painting is vundabar!!! I love it. I can see why it sold so fast. : )
This is a lovely still life Susan. Thanks for sharing your collection of small paintings with us. You did a great job on the display as well.
Hi Susan, I love your wall of art, some fantastic work there. I really enjoyed watching you paint the still life last night, I plan to watch it again soon. I'm not surprised it sold, Marilyn is a lucky girl.
Love the new Still Life and hate that I wasn't able to join the group. Congratulations on selling it before you even finished. Now that's the way to do it!
Your Wall of Art looks fabulous. I'm so proud to among them. You have a real flair for placement. Everything works so well together. Thank you for posting it!
Love this still life - very vibrant!
Honored to be on your artist wall amongst so many notable and talented!
The one you did of my weiner dog, hangs right where I can see it and my feet, each morning I wake up...of course the dog is usually right under my arm, too...
Hi Susan,
Beautiful painting -- yours, and I feel honoured to be with such incredible painters.
Thanks for this.

Barb is so right, I am a lucky girl! This little gem is a birthday gift to myself. I can't wait to unwrap this treasure. The overall sweetness, vibrancy of color, the natural placement of the composition, and the sense of peacefulness, touch me. Not unlike the artist herself. Thank you Susan, for all you bring into all our lives. You inspire me.
Susan, I love this painting!
Thanks for sharing your collection of small paintings. I am beginning to recognize the work of some of the artists from following them online.

Thank you, Everyone! When anyone asks what inspires me to paint, I recite your names. To have even one person vaguely interested in your work can keep the candle burning, but to have such friends as you... You light up my sky. I'm deeply grateful.
Hi Susan,
You light up my sky too. And I am deeply grateful to you, for your support, kindness and incredible generosity. Thanks so much.

Little Green Apples - I like the title and the painting. Reminds me of eating green "unripe" apples as a boy.
Question - when watching you paint online you are answering questions but how do the viewers ask them? Are they able to talk to you or only texting?
Thanks, Bill. During the broadcast, if viewers are registered on ustream.tv and logged in, they can chat with me and with the others by typing their comments and questions. Everyone sees the chat, even if not logged in. I'm the only one with a mic, however, so I'm responding by voice, not typing. I hope that makes sense. Come on by sometime and join in... it's fun and friendly!
