I've spent the last several days working on this portrait. Like always, I'll need to look at this tomorrow and the next day to be sure about it, but I like it tonight. I'm not getting good photos in my fluorescent-lighted computer room, so these are the best images I can get to show you tonight. After I'm sure I'm done, I'll post better photos. Thank you for cheering me along on this portrait of Ailee!

Hi Susan,
Wonderful work. I love the light and the cheerful mood.

Susan - an excellent piece!! And what a great foot! It's all good, but you don't often see feet in a portrait and you did such a nice job. The blues throughout are wonderful - I love this!
Lovely work! You've done such a wonderful job on the hands and foot. Really like the dappled light.
This is beautiful. I would love to see it in person, sigh......

I love this Painting...its got it all.Sorry I missed you, on your visit to Ireland. Ive only recently caught up with your Blog....looks like you had a good time.
This portrait is absolutely beautiful, the hands and the feet are brilliant also the background foliage, the wall she is sitting on and the patches of sunlight and of course her smiling face. I would say one of your best works (in my humble opinion!)
Really really nice. An heirloom that will be cherished.
Thank you, Barbara, Regina, Johnnie, Jo, Jerry, Diana and Bill? Lisa?!
I was a spectacle bringing this painting (30"x40") to the gallery on the bus this morning. Even a slight breeze as I walked turned me into a sailboat. The family is supposed to come take a look today. I'm proud of this painting, I have to say. Thanks for your good wishes!
Susan, this is just so beautiful. Every thing about it sings. The light - the natural beauty of the sitter, and the outdoor pose. I can feel the weight of her relaxed pose in her carriage. It's all painted so well. Bravo.
