It's either a halo or a moon. I keep thinking of Lady and the Tramp when I look at this little dog. All he'd need is some spaghetti hanging from his mouth. And, of course, no collar.

Stunning paintings, I love this little dog and the little girls. They are such happy pictures and you have captured that in every one. Superb.

I love the dog with his moon/halo! He has a wonderful old fashioned quality to him also. Like he should be on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post.
Wonderful painting. I see him (or her)as Saint Doggie of the Full Moon. I really enjoy the tie in of the round gold tag hanging from the collar and the halo of the golden moon. Happy Thanksgiving Susan!
