It's late, so I'm not going to square up the image to post the painting's progress. It's starting to take shape now. So much to do, but I can almost imagine what it might look like at the end.

Hi, Susan -
'Been meaning to post to say that I'm still out here reading your blog when you choose to post but have been very busy with work and other stuff. At any rate, I really like the wedding party painting.
As for Lina, I don't speak Italian but the first line is along the lines of "sending you an affectionate greeting." The second line...eh. "Presto" means soon. No idea about the other word.
Susan, this is a great scene and coming together so nicely. The colors, perspective, rocks and all!
Nice work, the finish will be exciting.
