I got to paint yesterday with Diane Manousos at her home studio and made some progress with this painting. Came home and painted another two or three hours here, too. Today I teach the painting class (now pastel AND oil!) at the Coppini Academy, so I need to make this a short post. Life is sweet when I'm painting. Oh, heck, life is sweet anyway.

this is really looking good. how big is it? is it for a commission?
Hi Sally,
It's 36"x24"...pretty big. But the heads are only 3" tall or less, so it's still a bit of a challege. It's not a commission. I happened by these folks last April and just took some photos. I'm piecing them together the way I like. I hope it'll be done in time to enter it into the Coppini Academy's Fall Exhibition.
