Fun Sunday, painting online with friends!

I painted this one yesterday, starting around 11:00, as a "warm up" to make sure everything was working before the 12:00 noon starting time. It's rather slap-dash, but every bit of practice helps, right? Barbara Pask tuned in early and stayed with me the whole time! Thank you, Barbara!

At noon, I took a vote among those logged in about which painting to do, thinking there'd be just one. The man with the beard won by a vote. I actually kind of like the way his whiskers worked out. I see lots of things on the painting that could be improved, of course, but I like a lot about this one.
Since we were on a roll, so I went ahead and started this one of Kim....

It could use a LOT of work still, but I enjoyed the beginning of it pretty well. Thank you to everyone who tuned in and kept me company yesterday!
Barbara Pask, Sharon Cullen, Karen Hargett, Regina Calton Burchette, Stacey Peterson, Chris Armes, Bonnie Mann, Carol Mitchell, Dar Presto, Jo and Gene and Joanna Castillo, Sarah Sedwick, Amy Sullivan, Ann Reyes, Dianne Mize (and her students!), Sherrie Allyn... I'm certain I'm forgetting someone... remind me?... Thank you all!

Great job and I really enjoyed it and garnered some good tips. Now, if only I can remember....

Hi Susan, Thanks again for the demo, you're amazing completing three. I did it after you finished, I painted my first palette knife portrait. Check it out, remember I'm new at this.

Susan, what a great afternoon. I can't believe you carried on and mostly finished 3 portraits. 3 small landscapes I can believe, but 3 portraits that look like the people. Wow. I enjoyed and always learn something from you.

It was fun for Gene, too. And nice to "see" Joanna since she is in Texas and we are in NM.

Thank you.

I cannot believe that I forgot to watch yesterday! Next time I'll write it on my hand ( no kidding). These turned out beautifully, and they were with the knives again? You really captured the expressions, I think they look wonderful.
Thank you for the great advice you left me. I'm taking it seriously.

Thanks, Everyone. Dutchee, I'm glad you came by! Rose, I'll try to remember to push "Record" in time next time! Barbara, your palette knife portrait is awesome! Jo, I was glad to be in the middle of your family reunion! JeanneG, Happy Belated Birthday! Amy, I'm sorry I misspelled your name. I had a student today named Anne on my brain when I was typing. I've corrected it, did you notice? Thanks again for being there!
Deborah, I'm thinking I need to have a little email list for those who want a reminder if/when I do it again. See you there!

Susan just wanted to say you did a great job on the demo. The beard came out great BTW. I wished I could have stayed on to the end but you know how life gets in the way of things ;) When is the next one?
