Safe With You

Safe With You
This large 36" x 48" oil painting on stretched canvas is a departure for me. I enjoyed the experience of painting a simple concept just for myself. Ahh.
Haven't framed it yet, but it's drawn lots of positive comments from visitors at the gallery - always nice to eavesdrop on.

Thank you for dropping in on my blog!

Beautiful warms and cools. The red umbrella just makes this painting!

Wonderful sense of intimacy amid the wide open space. I love the stance of the figures and the red pop of the umbrella.

Wow, this is different for you! A good different. Love the sky and the bigness of it and the feeling of closeness you have with the couple. Colors are grand!

Love the colors in this piece and the red umbrella does pop. It's so large, would love to have watched you paint it, hint hint. lol

Thank you, Sweet Ones. I can't wait to get back to the easel with a palette knife and a big fat brush! This was such a vacation for me. Thank you for your kind encouragement!

I am hoping this is you and your sister coming towards us.
My husband and I would love to visit you, Patty and your friends at your gallery in the fall when it cools off.
Thank you for being there! :)
